Career Experience

William F. DeLuca Jr., MD began his career as a certified plastic surgeon in Albany more than 40 years ago. Prior to private practice, Dr. DeLuca spent nearly nine years training directly alongside several of the most noted plastic surgeons in the world at the time, including Dr. Thomas Rees and Dr. Sherrell J. Aston.
After decades performing cosmetic surgery of the face, breast, and body, Dr. DeLuca is now working part time. His current clinical focus is more limited and centers primarily on skin lesion removal, selected Botox and filler treatments, and helping patients understand which options make sense for their goals.
Dr. DeLuca is certified by both the American Board of Surgery and the American Board of Plastic Surgery.

Training Background
Plastic surgery training shaped by leaders in the field
Dr. DeLuca obtained his plastic surgery training at Eastern Virginia Medical College, a preeminent program for developing techniques in breast reconstruction, and Manhattan Eye, Ear, and Throat Hospital, where he served as one of the last fellows of Dr. Thomas Rees, one of the most noted cosmetic surgeons of his generation.
In addition to his extensive medical and surgical training, Dr. DeLuca was a Rufus Choate Scholar at Dartmouth College and graduated Magnum Cum Laude. He attended Deerfield Academy for his secondary education.
