Career Experience
A career dedicated to judgment, detail, and natural-looking results
William F. DeLuca Jr., MD began his career as a board-certified plastic surgeon in Albany more than 40 years ago. Prior to private practice, Dr. DeLuca spent nearly nine years training alongside prominent plastic surgeons of the era, including Dr. Thomas Rees and Dr. Sherrell J. Aston.
After decades performing cosmetic surgery of the face, breast, and body, Dr. DeLuca is now working part time. His current clinical focus is more limited and centers primarily on skin lesion removal, selected Botox and filler treatments, and helping patients understand which options make sense for their goals.
Dr. DeLuca is certified by both the American Board of Surgery and the American Board of Plastic Surgery.

Plastic surgery training shaped by leaders in the field
Dr. DeLuca completed plastic surgery training at Eastern Virginia Medical College and fellowship training at Manhattan Eye, Ear and Throat Hospital, where he trained with Dr. Thomas Rees.
In addition to his medical and surgical training, Dr. DeLuca was a Rufus Choate Scholar at Dartmouth College and graduated magna cum laude. He attended Deerfield Academy for his secondary education.
